GovTV is a broadcasting production company based in Southern California with roots in the broadcast integration bussines. Founded in 1995 and recently acquired by Pacific Design and Integration Inc, GovTV’s mission is to support government’s objective of improved Public Access and Public Information by providing video coverage of government meetings to television and the internet.
Background
After over a decade of broadcasting government meetings with traditional “on-site” video control rooms, GovTV developed next-generation technology for broadcasting government meetings from an “off-site” centralized control room. This technology provides government reduced cost and increased convenience by leveraging economies of scale. Savings are achieved with GovTV’s cloud-based video control rooms and centralized staff. All services are fully managed and require zero local government staff effort.
